To process the vehicle title transfer, please bring the following documents:

• A valid government-issued photo ID
• Your completed but unsigned VP-024 form
• A certified copy of the death certificate
• The current vehicle title, if available

If the title is missing, don't worry—the DMV has a process to issue a duplicate using form VP-012.
